Hey Playdate fans,
I’ve been asked:
Why doesn’t Sudoku Time use the Playdate’s crank?
Short answer: It didn’t enhance the gameplay.
I tried integrating the crank for grid navigation, but it felt clunky. Since your hands are already on the D-pad and buttons, reaching for the crank interrupted the flow.
I didn’t want to include it just for the sake of it. My goal is a smooth Sudoku experience on the Playdate.
Maybe in the future, I’ll find a natural way to incorporate the crank. Until then, thanks for understanding, and I welcome any feedback on the game!
